A bag with two stories in one

Has there ever been a tote bag like this before? We wanted to bring the special joy of a bespoke item to everyone who chooses our ready-to-wear line. With this in mind, the reversible tote was born. It is a new creation that combines the craftsmanship sensibility cultivated in Florence with the everyday attire that Hidekatsu Fukaya re-examined during his long stay in Japan.

The inspiration came from the traditional Florentine technique of marble paper. After visiting workshops and learning the techniques and philosophy directly from artisans, when I tried to express its beauty in my own words, I envisioned the cats, which are also symbols of il micio, playing freely within the marbled patterns. The original marble pattern was completed after trial and error, merging traditional handcraft with computer graphics. Because the expression of the cats varies depending on the cutting position, no two bags are exactly alike in the world.

The greatest feature of this bag is that it is reversible. With the chic and modern look of White × Black on one side, and the warm and elegant look of Brown × Gold on the other, a single bag complements your outfit as if they were completely different bags. You can choose which side to show depending on your mood of the day. There has never been such a free tote bag before.

The material used is an original canvas fabric with PVC processing. While offering high water resistance and durability, the vachetta leather pieces add depth and warmth to the overall design. il micio's playful spirit and respect for Florentine tradition are quietly embodied in this single item. Available in three sizes—S, M, and Long—you can choose according to your lifestyle, from a casual everyday companion to carrying plenty of luggage for a trip.
