Native Crafts Daypack

The inspiration for the series came from the ancient crafts that our brand owner, Fukaya, saw at a museum. In an age without machines or electricity, people poured their passion and effort into creating beautiful forms. Struck by their overwhelming presence, this collection was born from the desire to "give form to the power of handwork."

Each piece of carefully selected leather is carefully cut, and then edge treatment is applied to create a beautiful, smooth cross section. Next, holes are drilled into the parts, and they are braided together with thinly cut leather cords. All of these processes are completed by hand by our artisans. This is a tribute to our predecessors who poured their hearts and souls into craftsmanship long ago, and to carry on that spirit and continue it into the future.

This item features a refined form created with minimal patterns, delicate handcrafted details by artisans, and a vintage buckle. The material is made of grained leather (bull leather), which is scratch-resistant and durable, yet has an elegant look. The wavy stitching on the leather straps that decorate the sides creates a beautiful, flowing curve, and the texture deepens with use, making it even more appealing. This is a special bag that will subtly enhance the individuality of its owner while gently fitting into your everyday life.
