Native Crafts Shoulder Bag

The inspiration for the series came from the ancient crafts that our brand owner, Fukaya, saw at a museum. In an age without machines or electricity, people poured their passion and effort into creating beautiful forms. Struck by their overwhelming presence, this collection was born from the desire to "give form to the power of handwork."

Each piece of carefully selected leather is carefully cut, and then edge treatment is applied to create a beautiful, smooth cross section. Next, holes are drilled into the parts, and they are braided together with thinly cut leather cords. All of these processes are completed by hand by our artisans. This is a tribute to our predecessors who poured their hearts and souls into craftsmanship long ago, and to carry on that spirit and continue it into the future.

We pay particular attention to the cutting and handle the edges by hand with the utmost care. The sophisticated form created by this combination creates an elegant bag with a native atmosphere. We deliver bags that exude good old-fashioned craftsmanship.
