The inspiration for the series came from the ancient crafts that our brand owner, Fukaya, saw at a museum. In an age without machines or electricity, people poured their passion and effort into creating beautiful forms. Struck by their overwhelming presence, this collection was born from the desire to "give form to the power of handwork."

Each piece of carefully selected leather is carefully cut, and then edge treatment is applied to create a beautiful, smooth cross section. Next, holes are drilled into the parts, and they are braided together with thinly cut leather cords. All of these processes are completed by hand by our artisans. This is a tribute to our predecessors who poured their hearts and souls into craftsmanship long ago, and to carry on that spirit and continue it into the future.

Inspired by bags developed for fly fishing in the early 20th century, this fisherman bag is an evolution of the Native Crafts series, incorporating the mesh from the Boho series into the exterior. The mesh, an Ilmicho icon, adds a touch of elegance to the minimalist Native Crafts body. The mesh section allows for easy visibility of the contents, making it a practical choice for storing frequently accessed items or even a mobile battery, allowing you to plug the charging cable directly into the opening.
