Native Crafts × Boho One-Handle Bag

The inspiration for this series came from ancient artifacts that our brand owner, Fukaya, saw in a museum. These pieces showcased a beauty of form created by people who poured their passion and effort into them in an age without machines or electricity. Struck by their overwhelming presence, he was inspired to "give shape to the power of handmade craftsmanship," and thus, this collection was born.

Each carefully selected piece of leather is meticulously cut, and the edges are treated for a beautiful, smooth finish. Then, holes are punched into the parts, and they are woven together with finely cut leather cords—all of these steps are handcrafted by artisans. This collection is an homage to the ancestors who dedicated their lives to craftsmanship in ancient times, and a commitment to inheriting and weaving that spirit into the future.

This one-handle bag was created as a hybrid of models previously produced by Il Micio. The minimalist pattern, which maximizes the texture of the Native Crafts series materials, is assembled with Boho pieces cut into a figure-eight shape, resulting in an innovative model characteristic of Il Micio. The unique expression naturally cultivated in the grained leather (bull leather) and its matte, elegant texture will elegantly complete your styling.
