Native Crafts × Boho One-Handle Bag

The inspiration for this series came from ancient artifacts that our brand owner, Fukaya, encountered in a museum. These were works of art created with passion and effort by people in an era without machines or electricity. Struck by their overwhelming presence, he was inspired to "give form to the power of craftsmanship," and thus, this collection was born.

Each piece of carefully selected leather is meticulously cut, and the edges are treated for a beautiful, smooth finish. Then, holes are punched into the parts and they are woven together with finely cut leather thongs—all of these processes are carried out by the hands of skilled artisans. This collection is a homage to the ancestors who poured their hearts and souls into their craft long ago, and a commitment to inherit their spirit and weave it into the future.

This one-handle bag was born as a hybrid of models previously created by Il Micio. It features a minimalist pattern that maximizes the texture of the Native Crafts series' materials, assembled with Boho pieces cut into a figure-eight shape, resulting in an innovative model characteristic of Il Micio. The unique, naturally cultivated expression of the grained leather (bull leather) and its matte, elegant texture will elegantly complete your styling.
