The allure of bespoke items lies in them being "one-of-a-kind, made just for you." We wondered if we could bring that special joy to customers who choose our pret-a-porter line. That thought was the genesis of this collection. At the same time, as a craftsman, I feel a strong sense of crisis regarding traditional crafts that are disappearing in our rapidly changing modern society. Can we utilize techniques passed down through generations in modern manufacturing? In search of an answer, I focused on the ancient "marbled paper" technique of Florence. I had long been captivated by its beauty, so I visited workshops, learning techniques and philosophies directly from artisans. I then thought, wouldn't it be interesting to depict Il Micio's symbolic cats freely playing and dancing within the flowing marble patterns?

Through repeated trials and errors and countless manual experiments, we couldn't achieve the desired expression using traditional techniques alone. It was only by combining traditional handcraft with computer graphics that we finally perfected our ideal pattern. Furthermore, the expression of each cat varies depending on where the material is cut. While the pattern is the same, no two pieces will have the exact same expression. It's mass-produced, yet each is a one-of-a-kind item. It's a special encounter, much like a bespoke piece. The material used is canvas fabric with PVC processing, achieving high waterproofness and durability. While offering practicality for everyday use without worry, it expresses respect for Florence's traditional crafts and Il Micio's characteristic playfulness.

This is a one-handle bag born from a fusion of elements from Il Micio's past models. It features a minimalist structure that leverages the texture of the Native Crafts series, combined with figure-eight shaped pieces of cut vachetta leather, resulting in a fresh silhouette characteristic of the brand. Its compact size can accommodate essential items like smartphones and wallets, adding an elegant touch to everyday outings. The body features a design inspired by Florence's traditional "marbled paper" technique, which Fukaya incorporated into modern manufacturing. The PVC-processed canvas fabric subtly features Il Micio's iconic cat motifs within its flowing marble pattern. Since the pattern varies depending on where the fabric is cut, each item, while sharing the same pattern, possesses a unique expression.
